After two nights in Rio de Janeiro, President Barack Obama and family left the city early on Monday (21). Around 8:20 am, they left the hotel they stayed inCopacabana, in the south of the city, and headed for the Galeao Air Base, from where to Chile. The aircraft took off at around 9:10 a.m..
Shortly before takeoff, the president dismissed the mayor Eduardo Paes and Gov. Sergio Cabral, who was waiting with their families on track.
Obama and his entourage were escorted by 16 scouts and three armored vehicles of the Army, and American agents. At dawn, three moving vans wereneeded to carry the baggage of the family of U.S. President and his entourage.

The commitments of Obama by Brazil were closed on Sunday night (20), with avisit to Christ the Redeemer. They arrived shortly after 21h, found the statue insilence and went to the observatory to look at the city from above. They spentabout 30 minutes on site.
